The University of Oxford, UK is currently offering the Reach Oxford Scholarship which is a study abroad full scholarship for Undergraduate students from Developing Countries to pursue Bachelors degree studies in any field offered at the university except medicine which has a longer length and more expensive.
The Oxford scholarship scheme is for applicants of the highest academic potential and who possess outstanding examination results. However, financial need and social commitment are also major criteria for selection. Applicants should be intending to return to their country of ordinary residence following their studies.
Only international students from developing countries who have applied to study for an undergraduate course at University of Oxford.
Number of Scholarships per year: Around 2-3 scholarships yearly.
Scholarship Rewards: Tuition fees and college fees, a grant for living expenses and one economy return air fare per year
Scholarship Duration: 3 or 4 years depending on course length
Candidates should first apply for admission to the University through UCAS by 15 October 2015
Scholarship applications must be submitted by 12 noon (UK time) on Friday 19 February 2016.
How can I Apply?
To apply for this scholarship, you must submit an application to the University of Oxford through UCAS by 15 October 2015 and been successful in gaining a place.
You need to complete a separate scholarship application form and arrange for two references to be submitted on your behalf.
- Applications are due to open in mid-January 2016 for those with an offer to study at Oxford from October 2016. The application form and guidance will be available from the webpage below.
- Applications must be submitted by 12 noon (UK time) on Friday 19 February 2016.
- The selection process will be undertaken in Spring 2016.
- Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application in May 2016.
